In order to better serve our referring veterinary community we have introduced a booking system for emergency appointments. This system is specifically designed for non-ambulatory patients that are seen by referring clinicians after hours or over the weekend when the VSCAN is closed. This provides an opportunity for a patient in a true emergency crisis to be seen as early as 9:00am or 10:00am depending on availability.

In order for your patient to be seen as soon as possible, please book an appointment and submit all records, blood work, and radiographs to info@thevscan.com. If these items are not received by the appointment time it will delay our ability to evaluate and care for your patient.

Please inform the client of the proposed appointment time and the cost for the consultation, including emergency fees ($420.00 CAD + HST).

A member of our team will contact the client to confirm the appointment. If your client is traveling from outside of Ottawa please forward a copy of the booking confirmation to them with directions and we will attempt to contact them prior to their arrival.

**NOTE: Weekday Emergency appointment scheduling opens at 6pm and only one (1) appointment is available per day.

Weekend appointment scheduling opens on Friday evening with two (2) appointments available for Monday and Tuesday**
