Dr. STEFANIA GRASSO

Dr. Stefania Grasso is an American Board Certified in Anesthesia and Analgesia (DACVAA). She has been working in private practice in Italy, and United Kingdom and then moved to France to work in the anesthesia service at the Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort in Paris. She has completed a Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia residency along with a Masters degree at the Purdue Veterinary College in Indiana. She has presented and published internationally in the field of veterinary anesthesiology on the subjects of pain management and hemodynamic changes during anesthesia. 

Dr. Grasso strongly believes that a board certified veterinary anesthesiologist should be involved in the care of each high-risk pet in need of anesthesia. Indeed, one of the anesthesiologist’s roles is to tailor the anesthetic protocol to the different needs of each patient and improve the outcome of the procedure.
